Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Typically bi-weekly, with each session running 60 to 90 minutes. Some clients prefer weekly sessions during particularly intense periods — a fundraise, a major hire, a leadership crisis. Between sessions, I'm available for quick calls when critical situations arise. Leadership challenges don't wait for scheduled appointments.

Absolutely, non-negotiable. Everything we discuss stays between us. If your company is sponsoring the coaching, we agree upfront on what — if anything — gets shared. The coaching relationship only works with complete trust, and I take that seriously.

Consulting gives you answers. Coaching helps you find better ones yourself. As a consultant, I might tell you what to do. As a coach, I help you develop the thinking and leadership skills to make better decisions on your own. That said, I bring real operating experience to the table — this isn't theoretical coaching from someone who's only read about leadership.

If you're asking the question, it probably is. Most leaders who seek coaching are already self-aware enough to know they want to grow. The best indicator is this: do you have someone in your life who challenges your thinking, holds you accountable, and has been where you're trying to go? If not, coaching fills that gap.
